Wonderland Productions presents
Wonderland Workshops

Wonderland Theatre 2005 saw Wonderland launching an ambitious and well received series of workshops for adults and children to compliment its core work as a theatre company.
The workshops aimed to provide unique training opportunities for all students and, in many cases the chance to perform in front of an invited audience at the end of the workshop.

The Wonderland International Adult Workshop series exists to offer Irish theatre professionals and students the chance to train in international styles of theatre, with directors and actors from other countries.
These directors are not resident in Ireland and so the workshops provide both workshop leader and actor with a rare opportunity for cultural exchange. The aim of the week to two week long workshops is to provide the student with a working foundation in the new style, which they can then build upon in their own work. Previous workshops offered opportunities to learn from artists from countries as diverse as Kenya, Romania, Greece, Mexico and Spain.

The Wonderland Childrens Workshops and Camps are for children. These are lively theatre and dance classes with Wonderland's directors Alice Coghlan and Sarajane Bloomer, where the onus is as much on having fun and making friends through drama and dance, as it is on learning key performance skills.
Like the adult classes, the onus is on teaching excellence, small class sizes, personal attention and developing the individual talents of our students.
This summer sees week long camps in Newbridge Arts Centre and Mermaid Arts Centre, Bray
