2005 has seen Wonderland launching an ambitious and well received
series of workshops for adults and children to compliment its core work as a musical theatre company. The workshops aim to provide unique training opportunities for all students and, in many cases the chance to perform in front of an invited audience at the end of the workshop. It is hoped that successful workshop students will take part in Wonderland productions in the future. |

The Wonderland International Adult Workshop series exists to offer
Irish theatre professionals and students the chance to train in international styles of theatre, with directors and actors
from other countries. These directors are not resident in Ireland and so the workshops provide both workshop leader and actor with a rare opportunity for cultural exchange. The aim of the week to two week long workshops is to provide the student with a working foundation in the new style, which they can then build upon in their own work. The forthcoming workshops will offer rare opportunities to learn from artists from countries as diverse as Kenya, Romania, Greece, Mexico and Spain, all the directors speak fluent English. The workshops are held in Dublin City Centre. |

The Wonderland Primary & Secondary School Workshops are for children
& take place in Dundrum, Dublin 12 after school. These are lively theatre and dance classes with Wonderland's directors Alice
Coghlan and Sarajane Bloomer, where the onus is as much on having fun and making friends through drama and dance, as it is on
learning key performance skills. Like the adult classes, the onus is on teaching excellence, small class sizes, personal attention and developing the individual talents of our students. |
